It’s How To’sday again!  I love featuring ideas from you crafty divas. Today’s how to comes to us from Cristine Redmond with a fun idea for a t-shirt makeover.

—————————-

My daughter has a cute, magenta-colored shirt that has been collecting dust in her closet, so I decided to alter it to make a Valentine’s Day shirt for her.

Using my Silhouette, I created this template using a rhinestone pattern. It originally only had two hearts, but I altered it to make three. I taped the template down to the shirt to make sure it didn’t move while I was placing the rhinestones.

I placed the i-rock rhinestones in the holes of my template using a wet q-tip.

Once all of the rhinestones were in place, I secured them using my i-rock. I secured them with the template in place first, just in case they moved or didn’t stick. Then I removed it and went over them all again just to make sure they were really stuck on the shirt.

This is the final product!  I love love love how it turned out and my daughter is super excited to have a “new” shirt. I definitely had fun using my new toys! :)

I was so inspired by Cristine’s idea to mesh together the functions of the Silhouette and the iRock that I used her idea to make this St. Patrick’s Day Card.

Thank you Cristine for your great tutorial!
